"Training at Werkhaus with Annamaria is a highlight of my week. She makes the workouts challenging, informative, and fun. She’s responsive to my interests and how I might be feeling each day. The program she and Zach created keeps me focused on my goals while working in variety and interest. The gym is a friendly place where I felt at home, despite not having done much of this before and being way older than everyone else. Zach is a superb resource on all things fitness. He devised a cardio program that helped get me to the top of the CN tower. Sophie, the [sports massage] therapist really produces results and I appreciate that she and Annamaria coordinate on my training and therapy. “If I could describe Zac with one word it is patience. I originally went to Zac because after a few months of running, my hips started hurting, I had pain in my IT band and I also had plantar fasciitis in both of my feet. Zac was able to assess what was wrong with my movement patterns and also showed me exercises to fix the issues I had. After just a few months of rehab and effective training, I was able to finish my first ever half-marathon :)”
